What is S.E.R.K.U.

 

Charter of the S.E.R.K.U.

The S.E.R.K.U. is an international union of friends of martial arts and self-defence.
The purpose of its foundation is to propagate and to spotlight the teachings of Master Shigeru Egami as an art of self-defence, a method of kinesitherapy and as a medium of human communication, through study, practice and analysis, both at a technical level as much as at a level of philosophy/mediation.

The S.E.R.K.U. studies in parallel pertinent arts of Sogo Budo (Jujutsu, Taijutsu, Bojutsu, Jojutsu, Kenjutsu) and rests open to co-operation with corresponding organizations.

The S.E.R.K.U. does not bind its collaborators, in the sense of an exclusive adherence to the art of Egamiryu karate do.
S.E.R.K.U.’s main idea focuses in the spirit of co-operation and acceptance of differentiality.
Every trainee in combative martial arts must have the opportunity to choose freely his schooling and to approach and investigate various combat styles.

The S.E.R.K.U. under the technical guidance of its founder Sensei Stavros Stavrianidis, assumes the training and education of its representatives, in the framework of organized seminars.

The S.E.R.K.U. nowadays is represented in Greece, Morocco, Austria Germany and France, aiming to a wider prevalence and representation.
